March in like a frigging Lion!

And it did just that. 

Hopefully the aches and pains subside in a few weeks as this is the longest taxing winter of my life I think.  Yes, I may have pushed it more than in the past few years but NOT pushing it will end up being the death of me I fear.  Winter long,  Snow deep and the Wood pile very short!  That should be the motto for the winter of 07/08 without a doubt!   Spring will be here soon and I know it as when I cut my hair the other day I went for the shorter route.  Why not?  Hopefully the near future hold true to my wishes and if it doesn't what the heck as by this time in 2 months I'll have so much done that it isn't funny.  Think about it now as I have potatoes to plant on Good Friday(mid March this year) and trout to catch a week or 2 later and then it's mushroom hunting time!!  Think I"ll be a busy guy for the next couple months!  BTW,  Our first calf of the year was born this morning!!!!!  I little black beef bull calf.  I was hoping to have them all on the home farm in the side lean to the barn but the side lean collapsed.  Better luck has to be coming!

Gotta run!  And run some more as it's MARCH already!
